Washington, Tyne & Wear, U.K. (26th July 2017) Long established U.K. plant hire specialist, Banner Plant Limited, has added four Snorkel electric scissor lifts to its fleet.
Banner Powered Access has taken delivery of two Snorkel S3215E and two Snorkel S3220E electric scissor lifts, which are deployed in their rental fleets in the Rotherham and Derby depots. The scissor lifts were sold by Snorkel UK, who will also provide parts and service. The Snorkel S3215E delivers a working height of 6.6m, lifting a capacity of up to 272kg, while the Snorkel S3220E lifts 408kg to a working height of 8.1m.
Headquartered in Dronfield, Sheffield, with depots across The Midlands, Yorkshire, and Derbyshire, Banner Plant have been serving these regions with plant hire, powered access, tool hire, site accommodation and loo hire, for over 65 years. Banner Plant has also recently acquired two new depots in the Leicestershire region, adding further assets to their already comprehensive range of plant and power tools.
With a fleet of over 370 aerial work platforms, Banner Powered Access has traditionally worked with a select number of manufacturers. However, recently they have invited additional manufacturers to tender for their business, including Snorkel.

The four scissor lifts were handed over by Snorkel UK’s Linda Betts to Phil James of Banner Powered Access and were immediately deployed in the rental fleet.
