Washington, Tyne & Wear, UK (15th June 2017) UK equipment rental company, P.E.T. Hire has invested in eleven Snorkel electric scissor lifts for their fleet.
Based in Crewe, Cheshire, P.E.T. Hire Centre Limited were established in 1974 and remain Cheshire’s largest independent hire company. Offering a wide range of services to the region, P.E.T. Hire provides, tool, plant and access hire, along with catering equipment hire, and tool sales and repair for many leading brands, including Stihl, Makita, DeWalt and Metabo.
P.E.T. Hire moved to a purpose-built 2,000sqm (22,000sq. ft.) hire depot in 2015, and were named ‘runner-up’ in the Executive Hire Show’s Passionate Hirer Awards in 2016, with the judges commending them on their impressive and well thought-out premises, their continued focus on the hire industry and their loyal and growing customer base.
The order for eleven electric scissor lifts was placed with Joseph Whitton, Sales Representative for Snorkel UK, by company Director, Carl Banks. The order included 6 Snorkel S3219E, 4 Snorkel S3226E, and 1 Snorkel S4732E electric scissor lifts, which were delivered in late April and have already been deployed in their access hire fleet.

We have always found that with good spare parts back up and personable engineers at the end of the phone, that downtime is kept to a minimum when we have a rare breakdown in our existing fleet of Snorkel lifts.”
