Washington, Tyne & Wear, UK (March 14, 2023) — Hire Association Europe (HAE) & Event Hire Association (EHA) have granted Snorkel UK the organizations’ Trusted Hire status through the Hire Industry Trusted Supplier (HITS) program.
The HITS program was designed to provide advice and guidance to the hire industry through analysis of supplier members’ productivity, efficiency, environmentalism and their capacity to accommodate increases in demand. To that end, supply chain members who complete an assessment and due diligence evaluation have the opportunity to be awarded the Trusted Hire status.
During the assessment process, the organization evaluated Snorkel UK’s compliance in areas such as training & development, risk assessment, equal opportunity policy reviews, to name just a few of the conditions of approval. They also required proof of liability insurance in several areas, as well as ISO accreditations.
According to strategic account manager for Snorkel UK Scott Holtby, the process was just a matter of providing HAE with information and documentation on procedures that were already in place, but the Trusted Hire designation is another significant step in building confidence with consumers.
“Achieving this status is important to Snorkel UK as it shows our commitment to working within the hire industry, and the approval gives confidence to HAE members that Snorkel has met the desired criteria,” said Scott. “It means customers can be confident they’re dealing with a supplier with processes in place that ensure a quality product and superior service.”
HAE is a professional trade body for the European plant, tool and equipment hire sector whose aim is to protect, support and grow the industry while safeguarding end users, hirers and contractors.
