Snorkel UK, the sales and service provider for Snorkel lifts, parts and service in the UK and Ireland, will introduce a self-propelled mini scissor lift to hirers attending the Executive Hire Show in February 2017.
The Snorkel S3010E is a self-propelled 3.0m (9 ft. 11 in.) scissor lift, that can lift one person with tools up to a capacity of 227kg (500lbs). The robust mini scissor lift is built to the same high standards as a Snorkel’s electric slab scissor lifts, including saloon-door style entry gates, and proportional controls, yet weighs just 495kg (1,091 lbs.).
Ideal for the tool hire industry, this mini scissor lift provides a safe and productive low-level work at height solution that can be easily transported, thanks to durable through-the-chassis fork pockets, and crane lifting points. Fitted with skid steer and joystick controls, the S3010E is easy to manoeuvre and a zero inside turning radius makes it ideal for working in confined areas.
The Snorkel S3010E is ideal for fit-out and maintenance applications, where the operator needs to travel between tasks. The lift can be driven at full height at a reduced speed of 0.4 mph (0.64km/h), eliminating the need to lift and lower the machine when repositioning. Non-marking tyres ensure the lift can be driven on most floor finishings, and DC direct drive delivers long duty cycles between charges.
Push-around versions of the S3010E are also available in multiple sizes – Snorkel S3006P with a platform height of 2.0m (6 ft. 6 in.), the S3008P with a platform height of 2.5m (8 ft. 2 in.), and the Snorkel S3010P with a 3.0m (9 ft. 10 in.) platform height.
